How to connect to internet using your mobiles as modem

How to connect to internet using any Samsung Mobiles? – Solution Found

Everybody in the internet asking how to use my samsung mobiles as a modem for connecting internet for my PC or Laptop.

In case for Samsung android phones tethering is a pre-installed option. But for other models there is no option for that.

Also Bada OS Samsung mobile like Wave 525 M etc. having internet sharing.

 

But for other models like Star 3 Duos Champ while connecting to PC there is only option for Kies and mass storage.

Samsung gives PC suite for  free download from their official website. But in Kies there is no direct option for connecting to internet like in case of nokia PC Suite. 

So I was only in a hunt for about a month and finally found a solution. I have shared this solution with my friends and they said that it is working fine.

How to establish internet connection in PC using your Samsung mobiles?

Method 1 – Creating a dial up connection

First of all install the Samsung Kies is software which will install USB drivers for all Samsung models.

If don’t know download the PC Suite here. (I would recommend if you have already installed Kies in your PC just update it or download the newer version here) 

Now plug your samsung mobile to your PC via USB cable.

Now a list of drivers are installed for your phone. Opening it you will be as like in this screenshot.

Samsung mobile USB modem should be correctly installed if not troubleshoot it.

Samsung Kies let’s you act as a network activator and then set up a dialing connection in Network sharing centre.

By doing this you can connect to internet using your samsung mobile phones. Just go Device and Printers >> Right Click your mobile and click Dial Up networking and then connect to internet.

Method 2 – Internet Networking Wizard

Now install Internet networking wizard for samsung mobiles. This driver also can be downloaded from this link.

Now goto Start>> All Programs>>Samsung>> Internet Networking Wizard. Now a dialogue box showing Samsung USB Modem then click next and give your network details and click ok.

Now a dial-up screen opens just click dial and you will see that your computer has to connected and shows internet access.

If doesn’t connected change your internet plans and also check your network coverage.
